Art on the Homefront

Caregivers on the Homefront is one of 26 organizations across the U.S. awarded a Creative Forces Community Engagement Grant, part of the Creative Forces®: NEA Military Healing Arts Network. This grant will support community-based arts programming for military-connected populations, providing opportunities for creative expression while building connections and improving resiliency. Learn more at creativeforcesnrc.arts.gov, National Endowment for the Arts, Creative Forces, Mid-America Arts Alliance and Elsa's Eclectic Home & Studio.

Throughout the next year we will be holding art workshops, both in-person and virtual, each month for veteran and military caregivers, their children, the veteran and caregiver and the entire family. Please continue to check our website for additional information.

Please Note - You must be a registered caregiver with us prior to registering for a workshop.

Save the Date - Our first workshop will be held on July 31st from 1-5 in Kansas City, MO. Caregivers will be able to bring their children and/or veteran to the event which will be a Patriotic themed door hanger make and take. You will be able to show up anytime between 1 and 4 to complete the project. Our professional artist, Elsa Littleton, will be on hand to guide you through the project. Supplies will be provided.
